Rights Explained:

Grand Jury: This clause says that you can’t be tried for a crime that is punishable by death or imprisonment in jail unless, a jury of 12 or more people determines that there is enough evidence for the case to go to trial.

No Double Jeopardy: This means that you can not be tried twice for the same crime.  If you are found not guilty by a jury, you can’t be tried again a few years later.

No self-incrimination: You don’t need to testify against yourself if you don’t want to.  You also need to read you Miranda Rights (right to remain silent, everything you say could be used against you, right to an attorney) before you are questioned or your testimony to the police would be void.

Right to due process: Due process is the right to have a fair trial and all the things involved in the trial like, the right to an impartial jury, right to be present at the trial, and to be heard in one's own defense and more.

Eminent Domain: The government can’t take private property without paying.  This means that the government can’t just take your land to build a highway on it and leave you high and dry. They must pay the fair market value for your property.
