This amendment protects state’s rights. The anti-federalists worried that the federal government may become too strong and take over the states. The 10th amendment gives states the right to make laws about:
- Marriage
- Divorce
- Education
- Zoneing
- Public health
- Driving regulations
- State roads
- And many more.
Most of these all amendments in the Bill of Rights, the United States created to prevent their power from growing too large, and oppressing their citizens. This has left us with many more freedoms and rights then other countries, and we paved the way for some of these countries to adopt these freedoms.
