This is a special project Mr. Fein developed for a conference.  We first played various drum rhythms (which I “fixed” in Garage Band).  we then used an innovative system to create a melody.

I used Band in a Box to make the background for this song.  I then played the chords but I typed the melody in Finale Print Music and then exported a MIDI for the melody.

This is the second melody I worked on.  Instead of playing the melody (since I played keyboard) I keyed the melody in Finale print Music and exported the notes as a MIDI file.  It’s more accurate

I created a base melody and then I played the song Brother John.  I then changed it to minor tonality and the I layered it to produce a “round” effect.

In this project I practiced using Garage Band’s loops to make an electronic song.
