“Fire and Ice”
Some say the world will end in fire; Some say in ice. From what I've tasted of desire I hold with those who favor fire. But if it had to perish twice, I think I know enough of hate To know that for destruction ice Is also great And would suffice.

A = Poison Tree I was angry with my friend: I told my wrath, my wrath did end. I was angry with my foe: I told it not, my wrath did grow. And I watered it in fears Night and morning with my tears, And I sunned it with smiles And with soft deceitful wiles. = Although today Hell is often visualized as consumed in fire, Dante’s hell is froze= n and cold. Robert Frost connects ice with hatred and fire with desire. Whereas, = fire seems to tinge ones’ skin externally, ice forces ones’ body to heat from within.
